Job Summary
Direct warehouse operations to ensure timely truck checkout, accurate receiving, and efficient order selection while maintaining facility cleanliness and enforcing OSHA safety standards. Manage staffing, expenses, and subordinate personnel through cross-training, development, and evaluation, ensuring all material handling equipment operators hold valid certifications. Control product movement into and out of the facility, resolve inventory variances via cycle counts, and oversee dunnage and product returns with suppliers. Operate forklifts, balers, and other equipment while maintaining accuracy in warehouse management systems and slotting products based on velocity.
Required Qualifications
- Equivalent to high school plus additional broad specialized training equal to 2 years of technical college OR apprenticeship training.
- Over 1 years' experience in beverage or related field
- Forklift certification and OSHA training.
- Ability to operate the following equipment: forklift, baler, sweeper/scrubber, electric jack, wrapper, glue gun, manual pump handle jack, and tractor-trailer.
- Knowledge of standard office machines (copier, calculator, fax, phone, etc.).
- Proficient with computer and Windows programs.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
- Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

- Knowledge of a specialized or technical field such as cost or general accounting, business administration, logistics, management, economics, human resources, marketing, supply chain management, sales, technical purchasing.
