Job Summary
Warehouse Manager responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations in a food-grade manufacturing environment, including receiving, storage, inventory control, material handling, shipping, sanitation, and personnel management. Drives operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and safety culture while supporting production schedules. Key duties include managing daily activities (receiving, storage, picking, staging, shipping), maintaining accurate inventory via cycle counts and physical inventories, ensuring GMP/HACCP/OSHA compliance, supervising and developing staff, coordinating inbound/outbound transportation, and leading continuous-improvement initiatives. Proficient in ERP/WMS systems, with strong analytical and leadership skills to optimize layout, workflow, and KPI performance (inventory accuracy, on-time shipping, labor productivity, safety, audit readiness, and engagement).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years of warehouse management experience
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience
- Experience in food manufacturing, beverage manufacturing, ingredient handling, or regulated manufacturing environments strongly preferred
- Experience with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control
- Understanding of GMP, HACCP, OSHA, and food safety requirements
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to analyze operational data and drive process improvements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift; lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work in warehouse and production environments, including varying temperatures
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment as needed
