Job Summary
Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping of raw materials and finished goods. Implement and maintain inventory control systems to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies. Manage and develop a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to improve efficiency and workflow. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse environment. Collaborate with production, logistics, and quality departments to streamline material flow and meet operational goals. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse productivity and reduce costs. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field, 5+ years of progressive experience, and proficiency in WMS/ERP software. Salary range is $76,000 - $116,000 depending on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in warehouse management, preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Proven expertise in lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen)
- Demonstrated ability to manage inventory control systems and optimize warehouse layout and processes
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in supervising and developing a diverse workforce
- Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
