Job Summary
Manage and motivate the warehouse team to meet productivity targets and customer deadlines during the 00:30–09:00 night shift. Forecast staff requirements, manage rosters, and ensure full staffing while maintaining quality standards across labelling and sortation operations. Provide comprehensive hand-over reports to the oncoming Shift Manager and conduct thorough inductions and continuous training for new staff and contractors. Champion safety by verifying Health & Safety training completion for all personnel.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a fast-paced Distribution or Logistics environment
- Demonstrating a strong understanding of operational dynamics
- Proven success in effective people management
- Track record of motivating teams to achieve outstanding results
- Demonstrated experience in driving and surpassing growing operational KPIs
- Consistently delivering measurable improvements
- A calm, focused approach to prioritizing daily tasks
- Thriving under pressure while maintaining high-quality outcomes
- Strong problem-solving skills grounded in practical, common-sense decision-making
- Proficient computer skills
- Comfortable navigating essential software and systems
- Able to confidently meet strict deadlines
- Excellent communication skills to engage and inspire teams
- Monday - Friday shift pattern
- 00:30 - 09:00 hours (40hrs)
