Job Summary
The Warehouse Manager plans, organizes, monitors and coordinates activities of workers in all areas of the warehouse to ensure orders are shipped accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities include coordinating outbound shipping, establishing and implementing work schedules, coaching and disciplining associates, identifying and developing employees, issuing written and oral instructions, standardizing procedures to improve efficiency, interviewing and hiring, leading the DPC department, ensuring proper shipment of hazardous materials, assisting in inventories and cycle counts, maintaining inventory databases and space utilization, ensuring safe operation of material handling equipment, maintaining a clean and secure work area, and contributing to performance evaluations and promotions. Required skills include strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities; experience with RF scan guns; proficiency in Excel (intermediate to advanced); familiarity with AS400/ASW is a plus; and a solid understanding of warehousing/inventory control functions. Five+ years of supervisory experience in supply chain, logistics, or 3PL is preferred.
