Job Summary
Schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure proper staffing for product receipt and adjust shifts for drivers. Direct day-to-day activities including shipping, receiving, stocking, organizing materials, maintenance, and inventory control. Monitor inventory, ensure order accuracy, and drive productivity while overseeing facility upkeep. Coordinate activities under Branch Manager direction, train personnel, and plan loading/unloading of deliveries. Route drivers for accurate, timely customer deliveries and oversee safety programs meeting OSHA standards. Recommend equipment upgrades and replacements to maintain efficiency. Perform weekly cycle counts and assist in annual physical inventories.
Required Qualifications
- Warehouse management experience
- One to two-year technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and delegate assignments
- Moderate physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities of a primarily production/technical nature
- Valid Driver's License
- Forklift certification or like equipment experience demonstrating proficiency
