Warehouse Manager (Food Manufacturing)

Job Summary
Develop, implement, and manage receiving, shipping, and warehousing processes with a focus on FIFO and inventory control. Monitor team adherence to warehouse systems and procedures, conducting regular cycle counts and monthly physical inventories to reconcile data in Microsoft D365. Uphold inventory integrity through consistent lot tracking while ensuring compliance with safety standards including HACCP, GFSI/FSSC22000, OSHA, and DOT regulations. Plan and manage departmental budgets, align labor scheduling with targets, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service levels. Recruit, coach, and manage performance of warehouse staff to build a high-performing workforce. Lead and participate in management and safety meetings to resolve challenges and support company goals.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of warehouse management experience in a food production or manufacturing environment
- Proven success in driving process improvement and operational efficiency
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance
- Demonstrated ability to develop, lead, and mentor high-performing teams
- Effective communicator with the ability to provide clear strategic direction and execute plans
- Knowledge of food safety and inventory control standards (HACCP, GFSI, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in ERP systems; Microsoft D365 experience preferred
