Job Summary
Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, shipping, logistics coordination, inventory control, and reporting. Lead and mentor warehouse staff to maintain high performance and morale. Coordinate with satellite company facilities to ensure accurate product tracking. Plan and coordinate transportation schedules with carriers and freight companies; troubleshoot and resolve delivery delays, damaged shipments, and other logistics issues. Lead cycle counts, physical inventory, and reconciliation; ensure accurate inventory records within Business Central; prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports on inventory, shipping, and receiving metrics. Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to shipping, order status, and product availability; promote a safe, organized, and productive work environment; collaborate with management to identify improvements and optimize warehouse operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of warehouse experience with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role
- Strong understanding of shipping/receiving procedures, logistics, and inventory management systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management software
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred
