Warehouse Manager

Job Summary
Oversee daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and inventory control while managing a small team focused on efficiency and safety. Route shipments and coordinate with carriers using transportation management systems, then process sales orders, picking sheets, and EDI transactions including ASNs. Accurately decipher SKUs and pack-outs to meet product specifications, maintaining records through Excel and Sage 100 while operating forklifts for safe material handling. Ensure timely, detailed order fulfillment against deadlines with attention to detail in dynamic situations. Forklift certification preferred; ability to lift 50+ lbs. required. Schedule Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with flexibility to work later and occasional overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Experience with Sage 100 or other inventory control systems
- Strong knowledge of EDI processes including ASNs and order routing
- Background in inventory control and warehouse management
- Familiarity with FTL/LTL shipping and transportation management systems
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. as needed
- Experience leading and motivating a small team
- Ability to accurately interpret SKUs and follow pack-out specifications with keen attention to detail
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills in dynamic situations
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (flexibility to work later if needed)
- Overtime on occasion when warranted by production needs
