Job Summary
Develop and establish staffing systems, processes, and procedures to ensure consistent, accurate, and timely customer order fulfillment. Investigate root causes of shipping and receiving errors, implement corrective action plans, and build supplier partnerships to meet delivery and quality specifications. Coordinate product movement, stock rotation, and freight transactions with regional Buyers and Supply Chain Managers while optimizing equipment resources and minimizing costs. Oversee annual physical inventory and cycle counts, trace item history to resolve discrepancies, and plan warehouse layouts based on turnover and storage factors. Monitor receipt and safety of goods via the Warehouse Management System, coach delivery staff on performance, and ensure strict adherence to safety, OSHA, and HAZMAT policies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a warehouse environment, including supervisory experience
- Proven track record in a team development role
- Experience with order picking, shipping, receiving, inventory counts, pick/pack
- In-depth knowledge of FIFO, OSHA requirements, safety awareness, and HAZMAT shipping
- Proficient in MS Office (including Word, Excel, Outlook) with the ability to learn and master internal systems (SAP)
- Proficient with WMS, B2B functions, near-miss and SDS, UPS, FedEx, and dedicated logistics systems
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen and background check
