Job Summary
Oversees daily warehouse workflow by scheduling staff for all shifts and ensuring safety policies are strictly followed. Recruits, hires, and trains new employees while managing discipline and terminations in accordance with company policy. Collaborates with other departments to maintain efficient operations, completes required management reports, and executes maintenance activities as needed. Researches and presents new ideas to improve warehouse processes, resolves discrepancies in shipping and invoices, and attends scheduled meetings. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations. Requires seven years of warehouse experience, prior supervisory background, and familiarity with Epicor Eclipse ERP. Required Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional supervisory and interpersonal skills
- Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures
- Thorough understanding of applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies and procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree preferred
- At least seven years of related experience in a warehouse setting
- Prior supervisory experience required
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue
- Must have good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree preferred
- Electrical Supply Distribution experience preferred
- Experience with Epicor Eclipse ERP System a plus
