Job Summary
The Warehouse Manager oversees daily warehouse operations for inbound receiving, stock organization, and outbound picking, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and quality control while leading a team to meet operational goals and maintain a safe, organized workspace. Responsibilities include managing receiving, labeling and storage, collaborating with Purchasing and Inventory Control to resolve discrepancies, supervising order picking, implementing quality control checks, coordinating with Shipping to meet deadlines and special requests, and developing daily work schedules. The role requires experience with WMS and barcode scanning, forklift familiarity, strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, and leadership skills to drive safety and cost-efficiency improvements.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of warehouse management or supervisory experience (apparel/headwear industry preferred)
- Strong understanding of receiving, picking, and fulfillment operations
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning technology
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
- Forklift certification preferred
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift and move boxes up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
