Job Summary
The Warehouse Manager leads the warehouse leadership team to achieve safety, service, GMPs, sanitation, and efficiency while optimizing the flow of goods and materials. Responsible for planning labor and equipment to meet production and customer demand, coaching and correcting staff, coordinating with 3PLs, driving inventory accuracy through physical inventories and cycle counts, investigating root causes of issues, and delivering measurable performance improvements. Focused on cost reduction, continuous improvement, and a culture of safety, this role requires strong leadership, collaboration with operations, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-demand food-manufacturing setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in business, logistics, supply chain, or other relevant field
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience OR minimum of 7+ years in warehouse or distribution leadership role
- Food manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to lead a diverse team
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving abilities
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple high-priority tasks
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite; Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Warehouse Management Systems strongly preferred
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing/warehouse environment with exposure to dust/noise and temperature variations
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for shift duration
