Job Summary
Lead warehouse operations at the Orlando distribution facility, overseeing receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping; develop and coach warehouse supervisors and associates; monitor productivity and labor utilization to meet customer service expectations; ensure compliance with USDA, SQF, OSHA, HACCP, and food safety standards; maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits; collaborate with Transportation, Production, Quality Assurance, and Sales to support demand; drive process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and control costs; manage staffing, performance reviews, and employee development; analyze KPIs such as productivity, order accuracy, and on-time shipments; ensure proper operation and maintenance of equipment including forklifts and refrigeration systems; foster a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of warehouse leadership experience in food distribution, meat processing, manufacturing, or cold-storage operations
- 3+ years of supervisory or management experience
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse management systems (WMS), and shipping/receiving operations
- Experience managing temperature-controlled environments preferred
- Working knowledge of OSHA, HACCP, USDA, and food safety regulations
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management software
