Job Summary
The Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Administrator will manage and optimize daily warehouse system activities to ensure accurate order processing, timely shipment, and high data integrity. Serves as a key liaison between warehouse operations, sales order coordination, traffic teams and IT to ensure the WMS and related data systems run efficiently and support operational decision-making. Responsibilities include reviewing and processing orders, tracking and resolving order discrepancies, generating and validating reports, performing data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for efficiency, ensuring data integrity between WMS, ERP and TMS, and driving continuous improvement through documented processes and system enhancements. Requires 2–3 years of warehouse/distribution experience, strong Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query), ability to translate data into actionable recommendations, effective cross-functional communication, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary diploma in supply chain, logistics, business analytics, or related field preferred
- 2–3 years of relevant work experience in a warehouse/distribution environment with exposure to WMS and Operations
- Strong Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query) and experience preparing operational reports
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to translate data into actionable recommendations
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work cross-functionally
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to changing operational needs
- Experience working with a WMS and the ability to troubleshoot issues
