Warehouse Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. Inspect, maintain, and repair warehouse dock doors, dock levelers, seals, shelters, and restraints while responding promptly to equipment breakdowns. Monitor battery watering, charging cycles, and overall battery health for industrial battery systems. Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and operational reliability. Maintain maintenance records and equipment service schedules, coordinating with external service providers for major repairs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
- Experience servicing forklifts and industrial batteries.
- Knowledge of dock doors, dock levelers, and warehouse equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment.
- All hires are conditional upon the successful completion of references, background checks and applicable drug testing.
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift Technician certification or related trade certification.
- Experience with electric forklifts and battery management systems.
- Knowledge of PM (Preventative Maintenance) programs.
- Basic welding and fabrication experience.
- Electrical troubleshooting experience.
