Job Summary
Seeking a Warehouse Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance and skilled repairs on complex production equipment (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic) in a manufacturing plant. Responsibilities include setting up, operating, and programming equipment such as computerized press-brakes and roll-forming machines; maintaining preventive maintenance schedules; leading safe removal and installation of equipment; conducting weekly safety checks; and providing groundskeeping as appointed. Required skills/experience include reading blueprints, diagnosing mechanical/electrical/hydraulic issues, determining corrective actions, operating/measuring with CNC machinery, welding or torch work, forklift operation, and strong math/written communication. Must be at least 18, have a high school diploma, pass a background check and drug screening, and be able to perform physical duties in a full-time schedule (M-F, 7am-4pm) in Spokane, WA.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- 1-3 years internal or relevant industrial machinery maintenance experience required
- Forklift certification preferred (will certify in-house)
- Basic math skills
- Written communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues and determine corrective measures
- Operate cutting torches or welding equipment
- Experience programming and operating CNC machinery desired
- Pass background check and drug screening for safety-sensitive positions
- Be at least 18 years of age
