Job Summary
Prepares stock pickers and tuggers for shifts, performing repairs on equipment including golf-carts, balers, chipper machines, and EPS lifts. Conducts preventive maintenance on all material handling gear and warehouse systems. Repairs damaged racking, rails, and carts, replacing or tightening loose bolts. Inspects racking, dock doors, and equipment for damage or functionality, while auditing restrooms for cleanliness and supplies. Checks battery chargers and monitors carts staged for repair. Maintains distribution center cleanliness using floor sweepers and scrubbers. Delivers supplies to various operations departments. Works Tuesday through Saturday from 7 AM to 3 PM, with potential nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test and background check
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a maintenance position
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a warehouse environment
- Experience operating warehouse equipment such as tuggers, stock pickers, floor scrubbers, etc.
- Experience working with chemicals
- Valid Florida Drivers License
Desired Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (i.e. Excel, Word, and Outlook, etc.)
- Google Suite (i.e. Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
