Job Summary
Operates motorized riding equipment in the Distribution Center; manually loads and unloads trailers; moves merchandise to designated areas and puts away/pulls merchandise. Cross-trained in other departments as needed and may carry out special projects. Repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs; uses scanners to read bar codes; operates equipment in storage racking up to 30 ft; performs safety checks; 75%+ of shift spent operating equipment; flexible schedule with mandatory overtime when scheduled. Must be able to pass driving and written tests, obtain machine certification, and communicate effectively with team members. Indoor, non-climate-controlled environment; full-time with benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age 18
- Successful completion of a driving test and written test is required
- Ability to be machine certified
- Ability to communicate with fellow employees in a courteous and professional manner and be a team player
- Must have multitasking skills
- Commitment to safety rules and procedures
- Availability to work a flexible schedule with mandatory overtime
- Ability to pay close attention to detail and must work well with numbers
- Good verbal and written communication skills
