Job Summary
Load and unload products manually from shipping containers, trailers, or re-palletize skidded product while tracking piece counts and verifying information against paperwork. Notify supervisors of discrepancies, damaged, or defective freight, and label items accurately when needed. Operate counterbalance forklifts and handle multiple SKUs or heavy loads in cold storage environments, ensuring all safety policies are followed. Commute to jobs across the GTA regions including Brampton, Mississauga, Etobicoke, and Milton, bringing your own transportation and steel toe boots. High-vis vests required.
Required Qualifications
- Applicants need to live in the Greater Toronto Area currently, preferably Mississauga or Brampton.
- Ability to drive or commute to jobs
- Steel toe boots
- High-vis vest
- Ability to lift over 50 lbs when needed
Desired Qualifications
- Lumper experience ( highly regarded, not required)
- willingness to work cold storage also, multiple SKU's or heavy loads where needed
- You must be ok communicating with dock supervisors, working in a busy environment and getting the job done.
