Job Summary
Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, inspect goods for damage, and report discrepancies immediately. Process material returns from production, perform inventory reconciliations, and label products per Standard Operating Procedures. Operate powered industrial equipment including sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks safely while maintaining organized storage. Coordinate inbound deliveries and outbound shipments, communicate with internal departments and vendors to resolve issues, and monitor workflow progress. Investigate inventory discrepancies and propose process improvements while adhering to OSHA, DOT, and environmental safety policies. Work 12-hour shifts, day or night, including weekends in a warehouse environment with noise and temperature variations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Prior experience operating powered industrial equipment in warehouse or manufacturing environments
- Required ERP system experience
- Must be 18 years or older
- Able to work overtime, weekends, and 12-hour shifts (day and night available)
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written and verbal instructions, including SOPs
- Must be able to stand and walk up to 90% of the shift
- Must be able to lift and position objects up to 50 lbs., up to 60% of work time
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Strong communication and reporting skills using data
- Teamwork and collaboration across departments
- Problem-solving, systems thinking, and process improvement skills
- Effective planning, scheduling, and workflow management
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Highly autonomous in shift-based operations
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and high attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems
- Understanding of FDA Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and OSHA safety regulations
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
