Job Summary
Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping while leading a team to ensure productivity, safety, and compliance. Monitor inventory levels through WMS or ERP software, conduct cycle counts and physical audits, and investigate discrepancies to maintain accuracy. Coordinate logistics with carriers and vendors, schedule labor, and allocate resources to meet operational demands. Maintain a clean, organized environment adhering to OSHA standards and prepare reports on KPIs such as inventory accuracy and on-time shipping performance. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and process improvements to reduce costs. Occasional overtime, weekends, or holiday work required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3–5 years of warehouse or logistics experience
- Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control processes
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, and inventory management
- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and warehouse best practices
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and warehouse software
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Frequent bending, reaching, climbing, and carrying materials
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- May require occasional overtime, weekends, or holiday work to meet business demands
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field
- Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification
