Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor

Job Summary
Oversee the day-to-day warehouse and logistics operations at Green Thumb's Ocala facility, including receiving/shipping coordination, scheduling of inbound materials and outbound product delivery appointments, and routing of vehicles within DOT and company regulations. Collaborate with Fulfillment and Sales to meet objectives, supervise delivery drivers, ensure compliance with GMP/HACCP and safety practices, manage inventory levels with the Supply Chain team, plan maintenance for PITs and Delivery Vehicles, and oversee cannabis-waste procedures (receipts, manifests, shipping documents). Lead training for new hires, drive continuous improvement with cross-functional teams, and escalate issues to the Operations Manager as needed. Must have strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced startup environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in a production environment
- 2+ years in supervisory experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED required; BS/BA preferred
- Experience in directing and evaluating hourly employees
- Ability to work independently or among teams with professional demeanor
- Knowledge in Continuous improvement (e.g., Kaizen, Gemba Walks)
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and customers
- Must pass background checks and obtain state badging for cannabis industry
Additional Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Must be able to obtain and maintain state badging requirements to work in the cannabis industry (requires background check and state review)
- Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry
