Job Summary
Warehouse Logistics Planner II supports five-year warehouse forecast and capacity planning, cost/space analyses, and cross-functional project coordination across SEWS warehouse locations. Responsible for data analysis, benchmarking, preparing project status materials for leadership, coordinating with contractors and Legal/Purchasing, reviewing layouts and lease-related documents, and applying Kaizen/best practices to optimize planning and execution. Requires close collaboration with developers, contractors, and internal teams; proficiency with Excel and project-tracking tools; and the ability to travel periodically to SEWS sites.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent relevant experience)
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, warehouse planning, project coordination, facilities planning, or related activities
- Experience supporting warehouse expansion, relocation, construction, or facility-improvement projects is preferred
- Ability to read and interpret warehouse layouts, basic site plans, and facility drawings (construction or architectural drawing review experience preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and project planning/tracking tools such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to present updates to leadership
- Knowledge of safety standards and compliance in warehouse/construction environments
- Willingness to travel periodically to SEWS warehouse locations (Canada/US/Mexico)
