Job Summary
Conduct velocity and batch picking, put-away, and stock replenishment for specialized Tribology sampling kits and industrial fluid analysis materials. Execute pick-pack-dispatch activities, including picking, packing, labeling, and staging domestic orders for carrier collection while verifying contents against documentation. Operate counterbalance and aisle-reach forklifts for safe stock movement, loading, and unloading in accordance with load restraint and weight distribution principles. Manage inventory transactions, stocktakes, and ERP system entries to maintain accuracy, and handle dangerous goods in compliance with applicable legislation and site procedures.
Required Qualifications
- A current and appropriate forklift licence
- Demonstrated experience operating counterbalance or aisle-reach forklifts
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, distribution, manufacturing or similar operational environment
- Experience with picking, packing, dispatch and stock control processes
- Confidence using warehouse, inventory, ERP and freight carrier systems
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy when handling stock, packing orders and entering data
- A sound understanding of safe manual handling, warehouse safety and general WHS requirements
- The ability to safely perform the physical requirements of a hands-on warehouse role
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with team members, supervisors and freight carriers
- A reliable, flexible and team-oriented approach to work
- Experience handling dangerous goods
- A Citizen or Permanent Resident of the country you are applying for, or either hold or be able to obtain, a valid working visa
Desired Qualifications
- Experience operating both types of forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Experience handling dangerous goods is preferred but not essential
