Job Summary
Lead daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory, staging, and logistics support while using WMS/ERP systems to maintain accurate transaction records. Assign tasks, coordinate dock operations, and prioritize workflow across areas to ensure products are received, stored, and shipped safely. Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, FIFO rotation, and labeling, while inspecting inbound and outbound shipments for quality and compliance. Serve as a PIT/forklift trainer, coaching team members on safety, best practices, and operational efficiency. Coordinate with production and transportation leadership to keep materials moving efficiently in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Warehouse, logistics, inventory, shipping, and receiving experience
- Experience using WMS or ERP systems
- Forklift/PIT operating experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to work in varied temperatures
- Ability to safely operate around equipment
