Job Summary
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips to ensure accuracy. Accurately record inventory into the management system, pick and pack customer, retail, and internal transfer orders, and coordinate outbound shipments with freight carriers. Schedule pickups, communicate tracking information, and maintain accurate counts through routine cycle counts and audits. Organize warehouse inventory for efficiency and safety, utilize software to process transactions, and assist with loading and unloading deliveries. Work closely with purchasing, retail, and operations teams to ensure inventory availability, maintain a clean environment, and identify process improvements. This role requires 2+ years of logistics experience, forklift certification is a plus, and the position is full-time at $20.00-$24.00/hour with benefits including 401k and health insurance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory motor vehicle record
- Available for varied weekly shifts, including weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal periods
- Ability to lift between 30-60 lbs, including bending, lifting, carrying, and moving inventory throughout the warehouse
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of warehouse, shipping & receiving, inventory control, logistics, or distribution experience
- Experience with inventory management or ERP software
- Odoo experience
- Experience coordinating inbound and outbound shipments with freight carriers and parcel shipping providers
- Strong computer skills and comfortable learning new software systems
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately process inventory and shipping documentation
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Demonstrated record of punctuality, reliability, and professionalism
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment
- Familiarity with ponds, aquariums, aquatic products, or fish
