Job Summary
Count, verify, and receive incoming vendor shipments and customer returns while stocking, picking, documenting, and packing orders per company policy. Load and unload trucks, operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely, and identify nonstock, special-order, or damaged materials for proper storage. Handle shipping discrepancies, complete third-party carrier documentation, and maintain warehouse cleanliness by removing debris and ensuring security controls are upheld. Inform supervisors of stock depletions, discrepancies, or safety issues that impact customer service levels. Requires one year of warehouse receiving experience, forklift training, and proficiency in English and basic math. Full-time benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and a profit-sharing program.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year warehouse receiving and material handling experience
- Read, write, speak, and understand English
- Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Possess a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Know of, be able to apply and practice safety precautions in a warehouse and material handling environment
- Be able to learn to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment in use at the Profit Center
- Be able to learn and operate the computer-related systems used for warehouse operations
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
