Job Summary
Load trucks by hand safely and efficiently, ensuring all products are properly scanned, data is accurately recorded, and paperwork is completed. Carefully handle and move large, fragile window and door products while inspecting outgoing shipments for completeness, accuracy, and damage. Operate forklifts and other industrial equipment to maintain high standards for safety, quality, and performance in receiving and shipping operations. This role requires a minimum of one year of distribution experience, the ability to lift up to 85 lbs, and prior forklift operation skills. Schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, with overtime opportunities available.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of distribution or related experience
- Ability to safely load and unload trucks by hand, ensuring products remain secure
- Experience receiving incoming shipments and putting away large, fragile inventory into designated storage locations
- Ability to pull and verify customer orders with strong attention to detail
- Strong self-motivation
- Communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- High attention to detail
- Dependable, consistent attendance in alignment with scheduling expectations
- Commitment to working safely in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous forklift or industrial vehicle operating experience (or willingness and ability to obtain required licenses)
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 85 lbs
- Comfortable with physically demanding work for extended periods
- Day shift: Monday - Thursday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm
- Pay: $23.00 per hour
