Job Summary
Load trucks by hand safely and efficiently, carefully handling large, fragile window and door products while ensuring all items are properly scanned and paperwork is completed. Operate forklifts and other industrial equipment to move inventory, inspect outgoing shipments for completeness and damage, and pull customer orders with strong attention to detail. Work the day shift from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday, with opportunities for overtime. This role supports Marvin's receiving and shipping operations for premium replacement windows and doors. Team members maintain high safety and quality standards while contributing to a supportive, high-performing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of distribution or related experience
- Ability to safely load and unload trucks by hand, ensuring products remain secure
- Experience receiving incoming shipments and putting away large, fragile inventory into designated storage locations
- Ability to pull and verify customer orders with strong attention to detail
- Strong self‐motivation
- Communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- High attention to detail
- Dependable, consistent attendance in alignment with scheduling expectations
- Commitment to working safely in a fast‐paced, schedule‐driven environment
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous forklift or industrial vehicle operating experience (or willingness and ability to obtain required licenses)
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 85 lbs
- Comfortable with physically demanding work for extended periods
- Day shift: Monday - Thursday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm
