Job Summary
Move pallets of merchandise from staging areas into trailers, utilizing forklifts and electric pallet jacks. Complete trailer inspections before loading, verify orders via RF handhelds or voice headsets, and ensure pallets are secured properly. Perform equipment inspections, fill out appropriate forms, and handle safe lifting of product ranging from 1 to 60 lbs. or more, including occasional overhead lifting and sharp object handling. Work full-time on the 1st shift from 7:00am to 5:30pm, Monday through Saturday. Paid training is provided, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401k are available from day one.
Required Qualifications
- One or more years of experience operating material handling equipment
- Ability and willingness to follow all material handling equipment safe operating procedures
- Strong sense of safety and ability to follow standard safety procedures
- Team-oriented outlook with a passion for helping others
- Desire to work with a team to support causes that positively impact our communities
- General Equivalency Diploma - General Studies
- High School Diploma - General Studies
- Shift 1st Shift (United States of America)
- Ability to lift 1 - 60 lbs
- Ability to lift product ranging from floor to overhead
- Ability to lift varying case weight, shape, and height levels
- Ability to handle sharp objects including box cutting tools
- Ability to stand, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift
- Ability to walk on various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.
