Job Summary
Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, and electric pallet jacks to pick, move, and unload products within the warehouse. Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties inside and outside the facility while adhering to safety procedures. Confirm product accuracy, address discrepancies, and communicate with internal and external contacts to resolve issues. Organize, stack, and shrink-wrap customer orders on pallets, then load trucks manually in a fast-paced environment. Match item quantities and descriptions to packing slips for returned items, check in product, and tag it appropriately. Maintain a safe and clean workspace by lifting and carrying merchandise weighing up to 100 pounds. Work the 12:00am to 5:30am shift from Sunday through Thursday.
Required Qualifications
- An ability to be Material Handling Equipment Operator certified and safely operate necessary material handling equipment
- Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment; or any equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience
- Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permissible legally
- Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications)
- If you are hired as a Full-Time associate, you must have the ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; additional overtime hours will be required based on business need
- Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more as needed
- An ability to lift, push or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 70 pounds and 100 pounds by hand
- Must wear safety composite shoes
- An ability to walk and stand 100% of the time
- You must be at least 18 years old
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
- Prior experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklift, pallet jack and cherry picker helpful
