Job Summary
Manage receiving and delivery of raw materials and finished products while utilizing docks and truck loading patterns to minimize time. Maintain optimal inventory levels and collaborate cross-functionally to provide timely service to the sales department. Develop and motivate your team to solve operational issues, drive change leadership, and build capability through hiring, training, and communication. You will have a regular presence on the plant floor, occasionally lift up to 40 lbs, and operate forklift or manufacturing equipment. Work the 2nd shift (02:00 PM – 10:30 PM) Monday through Friday with occasional weekend support and extended hours as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Valid driver's license
- indefinite right to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of warehouse or logistics experience
- exposure to Lean Six Sigma
- experience with supervising front line staff in a performance-driven, challenging environment
- Microsoft Suite including Excel comprehension
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to get results through mentoring others, effective coaching, leading a team-based approach to decision-making
- Safe driving record
