Job Summary
Warehouse Lead responsible for directing loading staff and warehouse operations to meet customer demands while upholding safety, quality, and cost controls. Drive planning and execution of logistics with trucking firms, enforce inventory accuracy and GMP/SQF standards, manage budgets and KPIs (yield, labor efficiency, overhead), and supervise warehouse personnel. Lead by example to maintain a safe, compliant, and productive environment; coordinate with partners on deliveries; utilize warehouse software (e.g., SAP) and standard office tools; ensure forklift operation and safety compliance; may perform production-machine duties. Strong communication, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum: High School Certification or equivalent (GED)
- 3 years+ work experience in a manufacturing environment, food/beverage manufacturing is preferred
- Must demonstrate basic operation of powered industrial trucks
- Must be forklift certified by an approved Refresco trainer
- Capability to read and write job instructions in the specified acceptable language(s) for the location
- Able to work under deadline pressures
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written
