Job Summary
Oversee daily warehouse operations by coordinating assignments, leading receiving, storing, handling, and shipping activities, and performing order pulling, staging, loading, and stocking duties. Enforce safety practices, coach team members on material handling standards, and conduct cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy. Manage truck loading/unloading, restocking, and bin maintenance while acting as a liaison between associates and leadership. Assist with new associate onboarding, resolve workflow issues, and adjust procedures to meet operational demands. Manage branch operations in the absence of the Warehouse Manager.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years of warehouse experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead by example and provide day-to-day guidance to warehouse associates
- Strong customer focus
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with shifting priorities
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and safety awareness
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to learn inventory or warehouse management systems
- Ability to work independently while supporting team-based operations
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds occasionally
