Job Summary
The Warehouse Lead oversees warehouse associates, coaching and training teammates while handling own tasks. Responsibilities may include shipping/receiving, packaging, inventory control, general warehouse functions and material handling (forklift) operations. Acts as backup to the supervisor as needed and conducts PIT and annual recertification training. Safely operates powered industrial equipment to move products, records shipments, assists with inventory/cycle counts, ensures inspection readiness for SQFI/FDA/customer needs, and enforces product rotation procedures. Applies safety checks, reports incidents, analyzes daily production reports, and may back up other warehouse roles. Emphasis on leadership, teamwork, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, 2 years of warehouse experience, 6 months of leadership experience, forklift certification or ability to obtain it, and background/drug screening requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum 2 years prior warehouse/distribution operations experience
- 6 months experience related leadership or supervisory experience in a distribution environment
- Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain a Forklift Operator license
- Pass background check and drug screen
