Job Summary
Oversee offloading, loading, and sorting of packages while enforcing safety protocols including dock, conveyor, and lockout/tagout procedures. Train and guide Package Handlers through hands-on demonstrations and performance feedback to support business metrics. Monitor equipment functionality, submit maintenance requests, and manage damaged freight per company procedures. Check in/out third-party drivers, verify credentials, and ensure proper documentation and manifest accuracy. Prevent damage and avoid misroutes by overseeing inspection processes. Work Saturday through Wednesday from 12:00 AM to 7:00 AM with hours subject to change. Lift, push, and pull packages ranging from 25 to 150 lbs as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of industry experience
- Regularly lift, push, pull 25 - 35 lbs
- Occasionally carry up to 50 lbs
- Occasionally push or pull up to 150 lbs using a pallet jack or gaylords
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Basic English language proficiency (spoken and written)
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
