Oversee package offloading, loading, and sorting while enforcing safety protocols, including dock, conveyor, and lockout/tagout procedures. Train new Package Handlers through hands-on demonstrations and provide ongoing performance feedback. Monitor equipment functionality, submit maintenance requests, and manage damaged freight. Check in/out third-party drivers, verify credentials, and ensure manifest accuracy. Prevent package damage and misroutes by overseeing inspection processes. Shift runs Thursday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM with a $1.00/hour shift differential for weekend hours. Requires high school diploma, one year of industry experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and push pallet jacks.
