Job Summary
Lead coach to warehouse associates and forklift drivers, training teammates to complete daily tasks while handling the Lead’s own responsibilities. Responsibilities may include shipping/receiving, packaging, inventory control, general warehouse functions or material handling; back up to supervisor. Train new warehouse associates and forklift drivers; conduct PIT and annual recertification training; perform safety inspections and ensure regulatory compliance (DOT, IATA, IMDG). Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reports; ensure proper product rotation and prepare shipping/tracking paperwork. Requires leadership experience and forklift operation eligibility. Ability to operate powered equipment safely and collaborate with teams to optimize processes.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum 2 years prior warehouse/distribution operations experience
- 6 months experience related leadership or supervisory experience
- Must be a licensed forklift operator or be able to obtain a Forklift Operator license
