Job Summary
Warehouse Lead oversees warehouse labor coordination, trains new warehouse associates to Metropolitan’s standards, ensures accurate labeling and paperwork completion, maintains inventory accuracy, enforces scan discipline, oversees repackaging quality to prevent damage, operates forklift/pallet jacks, and assists the Warehouse/Hub Manager with day-to-day operations; requires ability to lift up to 75 lb regularly and up to 100 lb with assistance, standing/walking for extended periods, flexibility to work extended hours or weekends, and prior warehouse supervisory/lead experience along with a high school diploma. Familiarity with heavy furniture handling and a forklift certification is a plus. The role is full-time and based in Ashland, VA.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year minimum of previous warehouse supervisory/lead experience
- Experience working with furniture preferred
