Job Summary
Warehouse Lead – Contract Logistics role in Elk Grove Village, IL overseeing daily warehouse activities, inbound receiving, inventory control, returns, and outbound shipping. Use WMS to plan and manage orders, monitor KPIs, train and coach associates, ensure inventory accuracy, and promote a safe, team-focused environment. Requires 1+ year in warehousing/logistics, lead experience preferred, OSHA safety knowledge, WMS/RF experience preferred, strong communication and multitasking, and availability to work nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in a warehouse, distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environment
- Prior lead or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and safety (OSHA)
- Experience with WMS and RF scanners (preferred)
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and lead by example in a hands-on role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must be at least 18 years of age
