Job Summary
Plan, assign, and direct the work of warehouse associates within a designated area to ensure company and customer standards for service, quality, safety, and productivity are met. Report defective or damaged products and follow up with corrective action, while handling daily inspections for equipment and inbound/outbound trailers. Check shipments for compliance, document quantity differences, and maintain communication with Traffic and Customer Service to provide feedback. Manage associate responsibilities including loading, unloading, forklift operation, and product relocation. Work a flexible schedule including weekends, with the ability to operate in extreme temperatures from -20°F to 100°F.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in a warehouse and/or logistics environment
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
- Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud
