Job Summary
Plan, assign, and direct the work of warehouse associates within a designated area, ensuring company and customer standards for service, quality, safety, and productivity are met. Report defective or damaged products and follow up with corrective action, while managing daily inspections for equipment and inbound/outbound trailers. Handle and document compliance checks for shipments, reporting quantity differences and quality issues as needed. Assign work to associates for tasks including loading, unloading, forklift operation, and product relocation. Maintain communication with Traffic and Customer Service Coach to provide feedback. This role requires 3 years of warehouse experience, the ability to work extreme temperatures, and lifting up to 40 lbs. Pay ranges from $21.15 to $36.25. Schedule varies by shift, including weekends.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in a warehouse and/or logistics environment
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
- Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud
