Job Summary
Warehouse Lead responsible for coaching and training warehouse associates, conducting PIT/forklift operations, safety inspections, and supporting the supervisor. Duties include training new staff and drivers, performing performance and maintenance observations, inventory/cycle counts, shipping/receiving paperwork, ensuring regulatory compliance (DOT, IATA, IMDG), and backing up other warehouse roles as needed. Key skills include leadership and people development, forklift operation, safety and quality compliance, process improvement, and collaboration across warehouse functions to meet department goals.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum 2 years prior warehouse/distribution operations experience
- 6 months leadership or supervisory experience
- Forklift Operator license or ability to obtain one
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
