Job Summary
Warehouse Lead at Kenco Logistics with responsibilities including coaching and training warehouse associates, leading in shipping/receiving, inventory control, and material handling, and providing backup to the supervisor. Roles may include forklift operations (PIT), conducting ongoing training and certifications, performing safety inspections, participating in inventory/cycle counts, ensuring regulatory readiness (SQFI, FDA, DOT, IATA, IMDG), completing paperwork, and supporting other warehouse functions. Requires leadership experience, strong communication and collaboration, safety-mindedness, and a valid forklift operator license. Emphasizes continuous improvement, operational excellence, and a people-first culture while ensuring compliance and quality in a 3PL distribution environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum 2 years prior warehouse/distribution operations experience
- 6 months experience related leadership or supervisory experience and/or training in a distribution environment
- Must be a licensed forklift operator or be able to obtain a Forklift Operator license
