Warehouse Lead

Job Summary
Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, and material movement by setting priorities, assigning work, and running shift start-up meetings. Work hands-on on the floor operating forklifts and equipment while supporting team training and reinforcing safety standards. Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and system tracking, then collaborate with Production, Shipping, Purchasing, and Customer Service to maintain material availability. This hourly leadership role requires consistent attendance with potential overtime in a fast-paced environment where you will lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk throughout the shift.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of warehouse or logistics experience
- Strong understanding of inventory control and warehouse processes
- Experience operating Forklifts and material handling equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems
- Strong communication skills
- Team-oriented mindset including leading and training employees
- Prior lead or informal leadership experience preferred
- Experience with ERP or warehouse systems is a plus
- Ability to stay organized, prioritize work, and solve problems quickly
- You lead by example and aren't afraid to get your hands dirty
- You take ownership of your shift and results
- You hold yourself and your team to high standards
- You're dependable, steady, and keep things moving under pressure
- Active role: standing, walking, lifting, bending throughout the shift
- Regular use of forklifts and material handling equipment
- Exposure to noise, warehouse traffic, and varying temperatures
- Hourly position with consistent, reliable attendance required
- Overtime may be needed based on business demands
- Essential functions of this position may include but are not limited to lifting, reaching, bending, stooping, twisting, kneeling, crouching, carrying objects, ascending/descending stairs and commuting to work location
