Job Summary
Warehouse Lead at IFF Cedar Rapids, IA — Lead day-to-day warehouse operations (inbound, outbound, and internal material flow) with emphasis on accurate receiving, labeling, storage, and timely order fulfillment. Oversee shipping activities, coordinate material movement to support production, maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and FEFO, ensure proper stock rotation, and drive GMP/HACCP compliance and safety. Support production with timely staging and delivery of materials and packaging, identify and implement continuous-improvement opportunities for efficiency, safety, and organization. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 3–5 years of warehouse experience; familiarity with ERP systems (QAD preferred) and forklift/reach truck certification; ability to perform physically demanding tasks and operate in temperature-controlled environments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- +3–5 years of warehouse experience
- Experience coordinating shipping, receiving, and internal material flow
- Knowledge of inventory control practices including cycle counting and stock rotation (FEFO)
- Familiarity with ERP systems (QAD preferred)
- Forklift and/or reach truck certification
- Ability to perform hands-on work and operate in temperature-controlled environments
- Strong organization, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience in GMP/HACCP compliance
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or food environment
