Warehouse Lead

Job Summary
Oversee warehouse personnel and activities on the assigned shift to maintain certification compliance and operational standards. Responsibilities include picking, packing, preparing orders for shipment, inspecting product quality, coaching and mentoring staff, orienting and training new employees, communicating issues to management, supporting QS9000/ISO 9001/QS 9000 and ISO 14001 documentation, and providing ongoing safety and environmental training. Prepare daily management reports, coordinate with IT on PeopleSoft and TRAX issues, print reports and orders, assist the Distribution Manager, and perform other duties as assigned. Key skills include proficiency with MS Word and Excel, ERP systems (MQ1 and TRAX), forklift operation, effective written and verbal communication, data entry, and the ability to read and interpret customer orders.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior forklift experience, preferred
- Prior experience in a Lead capacity, preferred
- Basic computer and software experience
- Ability to use MS Word and Excel
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read and interpret customer orders
- Able to stand/walk for up to 12 hours when assigned
