Warehouse Lead

Job Summary
Lead designated warehouse processes and ensure daily task completion for assigned team members. Route and coordinate outbound shipments using WMS, ERP, and carrier portals while selecting optimal LTL, FTL, or parcel methods. Review and approve shipping documentation, monitor dock appointments, and resolve transit delays with transportation providers. Conduct daily audits for shipment accuracy, support inventory control through cycle counts, and train staff on safety and quality practices. Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company standards while reporting KPIs on shipping performance. Perform basic maintenance tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of warehouse or logistics experience
- at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of shipping methods, routing practices, and freight terminology
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and shipping software
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
