Job Summary
Lead and coach warehouse associates, train new staff including forklift operators, and perform back-up duties for the supervisor. Responsibilities may include shipping/receiving, packaging, inventory control, general warehouse tasks, and material handling. Conduct PIT and annual recertification training; perform safety inspections and ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements (DOT, IATA, IMDG, SQFI, FDA). Review production and shipping paperwork, participate in cycle counts, report variances, and serve as backup to other warehouse roles as needed. Maintain efficient operations, uphold safety standards, and support continuous improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum 2 years prior warehouse/distribution operations experience
- 6 months experience related leadership or supervisory experience and/or training in a distribution environment
- Must be a licensed forklift operator or be able to obtain a Forklift Operator license
